Locanda le Mandriane is surrounded by the Tuscan Maremma, a short drive from the Monte Argentario Natural Park. Free parking is provided on site. Everything. The property is beautiful. The hosts were so kind and generous with their time. They had a good breakfast spread. They made me a cappuccino. They gave me a tour of their animals. They have an ostrich and many beautiful birds. It's very cute and comfortable and I would stay again.

Agriturismo Pimpinnacolo is a self-catering accommodation located in Porto Ercole. Free WiFi access is available. The apartment will provide you with air conditioning, a terrace and a seating area. Comfortable, clean, well equipped and cosy. By the way, many reviewers remarked on the absence of salt and pepper, but there was plenty of both. You'll find it in the sachets in the container by the sink. Wonderful views, beautiful walks and close to town despite being surrounded by countryside. Close to the Feniglia beach, and an easy drive to both Orbetello and Porto Santo Stefano. The Argentario is well worth exploring - a bit like Cap d'Antibe but a thousand times bigger. Then again, there are the islands of Giglio and Gianutri. Basically, it's a wonderful base for a wonderful holiday. A real home from home.
