Situato a Coimbra, a 3,3 km dal Portugal dos Pequenitos e a 3,4 km dal Monastero di Santa Clara a Velha, l'Oryza Guest House& Suites offre sistemazioni con WiFi gratuito e accesso a un giardino. This was truly an exceptional stay. The guesthouse is beautiful and has a very interesting history. It is the former house of the owner's great-grandparents, who were rice farmers. Now it is a stunning property with a pool, beautiful garden and farm with fruit trees and chickens (that provide the eggs for breakfast). Luiz is incredibly kind and welcoming, as is the rest of the staff. The house itself is really beautiful, it's a historical building, but very tastefully modernized, so that it is as comfortable as any luxury hotel, but much more interesting and charming. The kitchen is incredibly cozy, there's a woodburning oven, a fridge with local beers and wines, as well as fresh fruit from the garden and (insanely good) freshly baked cake. The room really was like a luxury hotel room, very comfortable mattress, huge bathroom with a new shower, etc. Breakfast was delicious and included many products from the farm, like eggs, jams, juice, etc. The house is located outside Coimbra, but only a five minute drive away from the city centre, which I actually preferred, because at night it was quiet and calm (and much easier to find parking than in the old city). I stayed for one night and while you really only need one day to see the major sights in Coimbra, next time I would stay for a few extra days to relax in the guesthouse and explore the area more.

Casa Das Condessinhas si trova a Lousã, a 28 km da Stadio di Calcio di Coimbra e 30 km da S. The apartment is very beautiful and comfortable. The apartment faced a pastoral landscape. The staff was very friendly. I would like to mention Bruna who helped with a personal issue and showed patience and empathy. Just great. And so did Anna who welcomed us like family every morning at breakfast. A wonderful and warm woman. The food was of high quality and very tasty. Anna made delicious cakes. The whole house is very nicely decorated and furnished.

We have been just one night but it was really great. The place and the surrounding were amazing. So beautiful. Vasco was so nice and gave us great information. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Really magical place.

We decided to stay in the bungalow: very comfortable, dry (it was pouring!), and clean. The owner is very friendly. He prepared a superb breakfast for us. They have a very nice quinta, surrounded by their vineyard. They cultivate their land according to the best sustainable practices. Very calm area. Very nice swimming pool, which we did not use due to weather.
