Located in Camacha, in a historic building, 10 km from Marina do Funchal, Quinta da Moscadinha is a farm stay with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. The place is impeccable and has a great vibe! Everything was perfect, the breakfast was so tasty and the bed was actually more comfortable than the one i have at home (which is a first for me)

The staff was very welcome with great communication before and during the stay. The room was as in the pictures, with a good view and well equipped. The neighborhood is adorable and great to explore by walking. You have restaurants, playgrounds, stores, and nature in a short distance.

We felt so relaxed staying at Casas da Levada. The pool was cold so we loved jumping in after warm hikes. The hobbit house bar is beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and overall you feel so immersed in nature.

From the moment we arrived, the host welcomed us with such warmth and openness, offering the best tips for exploring the island. When we had trouble getting a rental car, they went out of their way to help us secure one, which was a huge relief. Their hospitality truly made this place feel like home. With the breathtaking sea view and incredible care from the hosts, we wouldn’t think twice about coming back if we return to Madeira.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect, so beautiful and quiet, but still easily accessible to reach Funchal. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. The house was well equipped and had everything you could need.

When we think of paradise we think Quinta Terezinha! This hilltop country farmhouse is the perfect retreat for relaxation and solitude. The Hosts Laura and her father are excellent from attention to details and communication skills to providing special goodies upon arrival. There are many places to see on this island but we just did not want to leave the peaceful setting of this very special accommodation. Cats come with this deal and in my opinion make this place feel like home away from home. We love, love, love Quinta Terezinha and we how you will too!

Moinho do Comandante features lake views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Faial, 11 km from Santana's traditional houses. In short, Best stay ever. It's like having your private valley, far away from the mass tourism. Carlos is a great host, has lots of stories to share and is also a great source of places to visit. The breakfast is massive, whith something new every day. If you like to be a bit off the beaten track, you will love this.
