Paulo could not have been more helpful after a stressful journey. The setting of the Quinta is idyllic and the purpose-built accommodation is spacious and well furnished , with stunning views over the hills and countryside. The breakfast was excellent. We left totally refreshed and will return for a longer stay when next in the area.

Set in Tabuaço, in a historic building, 32 km from Douro Museum, Quinta da Moita Agroturismo is a recently renovated farm stay with an outdoor swimming pool and garden. Staff was so helpful and friendly. The apartment amenities were all you could ask for. The pool and property were stunning. It was a quiet location. Mini bar with local was amazing and great value. The breakfast was very very nice. I would recommend walking the trails around the property. Numerous fruit trees and vast orchard with history pathways. Great hike. Parking was ample and shaded.

Boasting pool with a view, garden and views of mountain, Casa do Salgueiral is situated in Santa Marta de Penaguião, 10 km from Douro Museum. The place is beautiful. The view is fantastic and the rooms so spacious and charming. Wonderful hosts and a great breakfast. A real treat.
