Quiet, calm, beautiful, was like getting out of the world for a couple of days! The Playa fluvial near the Villa was amazing and so relaxing! The owners were very kind and provided us with many tips to visit the area. They were also relaxed about our check out time. The breakfast provided was incredible and we had one dinner at their restaurant, that we truly enjoyed!

This was the nicest place we stayed in Portugal. The house is gorgeous, and every view from the windows felt like a fairy tale. The location is convenient for hiking, with trailheads that are walking distance from the house. The breakfast that is provided is huge, and the bread was fresh-baked. However, I would probably arrive with some groceries for snacks, because the nearest full grocery store is in Seia. I think the only dinner option in town is at the resort, which is excellent and well-priced. The chef came out and gave us her recipe for the rice cooked in orange, which we are looking forward to trying out. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely, and Nuno especially was so helpful. The drive to the house was a little tricky, and he led us there so that we could navigate the turns. He had excellent advice about hiking as well.

Owner was fantastic, always had a very cheerful greeting whenever we saw her and a fond farewell when we left. Bedroom retains some original charm but the bathroom is bang up-to-date. Location could not be any better for the old part of town and although there are some hills to negotiate nothing is too far away.
