The Pashmina is absolutely excellent. It is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. We had a deluxe XXL room with 2 bedrooms and a central lounge, which worked wonderfully for our family. We also had our own harman, which was a hit after a day's skiing.
Offering ski-to-door access, Le Fitz Roy, a Beaumier hotel is set in Val Thorens at an altitude of 2300 metres and offers panoramic views of the mountains.

booking.com made an error with our booking - the hotel were not even expecting us! despite this being no fault of the hotel, the staff apologised profusely and upgraded us to the most beautiful suite.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

The staff and service is this place are UNBELIEVABLE. Location was great as could ski in and out very easily. The free shuttle mad life so easy if going into the village.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The room was absolutely beautiful with great facilities, love the coffee machine in room and the little piece of nougat on our pillow each evening. Everything was extremely clean and the toiletries in the bathroom smell divine! The ski room is large and well designed with those extra touches like access to slippers once you've removed your ski boots. Breakfast had a huge selection, along with cooked eggs of your choice all included. Cakes and treats available after a full day skiing was very much appreciated.
When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. As well as offering the kind of service to make you feel like royalty, you’ll usually find highly rated on-site spas, gourmet restaurants and top-of-the-line beds you won’t want to get out of.
The breakfast at the hotel is ok. Not worth 5 start hotel , but anyway good enough for me. I can not say it about the restaurant - food is not good, and you can notice that it is totally not popular. Other restaurants are full, that one is always empty.
Hotel Koh-i-nor .... very nice rooms, spacey clean with good ambiance. Location - directly on slop:) Service and the staff at the ski shop absolutely the best - five star for sure! Restaurant Black Diamond - fantastic, nice staff, very good food - dinner in tasting menu style but very nice with variety of taste and after this menu you are not overeaten. Strongly recommend.
In the evenings you may sit at the bar by fire place having drinks.
Location was excellent. Lower part of town near bus station and the slopes
Apt was warm and nicely-styled. Beds were very comfortable and there was lashings of hot water.
The kitchen was superbly equipped with brand new high quality appliances. Great to have a washer dryer in the apt too
Lots of cooking utensils and dishes etc…
Lots of spare towels provided, which was a real luxury.
Ski room and key system all worked well.
Check in system was smooth as the agency waited for us to arrive.
Maybe it's rated as a 3 star hotel, but overall experience is really 5 star. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner nenu was excellent, and food was delicious and beautifully served. We will definitely return to this hote, and recommend it to our friends.
The service was really fantastic with a lot of very attentive, friendly and dedicated staff.
The ski shop was outstanding.
I loved the breakfast and appreciate the fresh orange juice at breakfast, (although you would expect it from a 5 star hotel).
The room and the entire hotel is very cosy and has a very warm feel to it. The ambience at the bar is the best in Val thorens.
Great room and view. Food on half board is exceptional. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s this that really makes the place five star.
Boot room is cracking and the ski shop staff great.
Spa is also really relaxing. Worth a visit - especially if the weather is bad the the skiing hard work.
This is a 3 star hotel in a 5 star location. Common areas were unkept and untidy. A lot of staff, while willing, were untrained.
Breakfast was excellent, but dinner was poor in that there was little to no food available in the buffet when we arrived down at 8pm.
Location is excellent, but so it is for most locations in the resort. One got a very distinct impression this was a budget hotel, not a 4 star. In December we stayed in a near by 4 star, similar price and there was simply no comparison.
location could not be better, beautifully appointed to a 5 star level but it’s still a ski hotel where you feel comfortable wearing casual wear and ski suits etc. the shuttle will take you anywhere you want at any time which is fabulous
