I had a brief stay in Bali on my way to Europe, and chose to stay at Giri Bhagawan because it had good reviews and was relatively easy to reach from the Denpasara Airport (about 20 minutes by car). I think it was the most comfortable and refreshing short stop that I have ever experienced. The buildings and grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the rooms are beautifully designed in traditional Balinese, and the staff are charming a helpful. I chose a villa with a plunge pool, which provided the perfect start to the morning after a long flight. My package also included a free massage, which was great.
