Surrounded by Kalenberg’s forests, Landgoedhotel Barchem offers spacious rooms and studios set in small houses in the grounds. Its restaurant serves organic dishes and opens onto a large terrace. The grounds are stunning, and so is the decor of the hotel. The breakfast is sumptuous! The hotel room was a very pleasing shape, as it was not square or rectangular, but had an interesting round window alcove with shutters. The bathroom was spotless and the shower had two choices of shower head. I also liked that scattered within the hotel were little seating areas and also very pretty garden areas with decorative statues and such. All in all an excellent hotel, very good value for money.

Villa Ruimzicht is a monumental building just outside Doetinchem city-centre, situated in an arboretum, a special city estate with monumental trees. Great room, larger than I expected. Also really kind receptionists. We were also able to wash clothes here, which was great for us traveling by.

The 4-star Kasteel Engelenburg is located in the beautiful region of Veluwe. A beautiful building with a history, it offers peaceful surroundings and fine accommodation and services. The room was beautiful, very calm. The food was really amazing and a great service. Thank you for this amazing weekend.

The name Avenarius is very famous in this little part of Holland, associated with hospitality, cuisine and high quality. The hotel has offered luxurious bedrooms with all the amenities you will need. The staff is second to none. Fantastic. Very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, elaborate choice and pent. Can’t say enough

Situated in Zutphen, this 4-star resort has been rewarded for its ecological and social durability. It offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and a TV. We stayed overnight, had a Good rest, nice breakfast and enjoyed the pool in the morning before we checked out!

This monumental building from the 17th-century combines a historic building with modern features, fine dining and a city centre location. It features a scenic heated terrace and offers free Wi-Fi. The hotel is located in the city, yet I could enjoy the tranquility and the breakfast was fulfilling. I love that they also gave free coffee & tea so I could drink it in my room. I arrived a little late that night, but they were still kind enough to open the door for me :) The hotel is within walking distance of the train station. If I had to choose a hotel in Zutphen, I would definitely choose the Hampshire Hotel - 's Gravenhof Zutphen again.
