The property owner reached out a few days ahead of our stay to find out if we were bbq-ing and prepared the charcoal ahead of time. Upon arriving, they shared about the all you can drink alcohol which cost 1,500yen per person and it is a fully stocked drink counter. Super worth it I would say. There were rice and vegetables available for us to bbq and even the kitchen within the cabin comes with all utensils you need.

We love this place everything it’s amazing if you like nature camping this is the place , perfect location few activities, the staff spoke English made it easy for us , staff very friendly and attentive, our stay included breakfast and dinner and let me tell you was delicious great wine selection as well, I don’t have enough words to describe how wonderful this place is, 10 out of 10 indeed. I highly recommend the Grand Verde Resort!!! You won’t regret it

The one villa, 3 cottages and 10 Yatei suites tents blend effortlessly into its surroundings. I was in cottage 2, a small simple but pristine wooden cabin that came with two twin beds & a sofa bed. Inside-outdoor bedroom & living/dining area, private healing sauna with a view, an outdoor babbling cold plunge. @ the hotel. Great service especially the guy from Itoshima that checked me in and set up my dinner in one of the tents. Yatei suites is a quiet adult area. The DIY camping area is next door, kids friendly, and has lots of activities. Food & drinks. Had dinner in one of the tents which was a fun & gourmet experience, food is prepared and you just need to grill / heat it up, I don’t even cook instant noodles at home but the equipment here is super easy to use and everything was seasonal and tasty. After dinner activities besides star gazing, includes imbibing of local spirits at the Tabiki tent, and the minibar are stocked with complimentary bottles of wine. This is a really special experience. The tents are up a winding road and look out to the valley. The meals provided are in a cook-your-own style so you can BBQ while chatting with friends or family. We went during the winter and ended up being the only ones staying there that night and it was really special, quiet and dark. The outdoor private onsen experience was also great for the family as we were able to all get in. We weren't able to see stars at night, but it snowed heavily during the night and the kids could build snowmen and have a snowball fight in the morning.

Although the weather is not good on the day of arrival (so heavy rain), but we got a happy day in the tent and we enjoy the delicious BBQ so much . The staff Mr. Siu Chi Yung is so nice and he help us to play the fireworks outdoor, the kids are so happy about that . He also help us to arrange the tennis court when we needed help.
