The tent is so gorgeous equipped with lush furniture and you will find everything you need. I loved how breakfast is cutely delivered each morning and even if you need to leave early in the morning they will bring it to you in the afternoon of previous day. Super accommodating , friendly and such lovely people. Gorgeous views from the tents, relaxing and bliss pool area. Highly recommended that this should be experienced! Calheta Glamping Pods - Nature Retreat, a property with a garden, is located in Calheta, 27 km from Girao Cape, 28 km from Porto Moniz Natural Swimming Pools, as well as 35 km from Marina do Funchal. This was the best place we have ever stayed. We loved the view so much, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. The view is something you won't get over. Awesome pool, washing facilites to use (1 euro for detergent pod) and free bread for all of the pods. We highly recommend this spot & loved watching the sunset every afternoon.

Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection. The property also has a small pond with trout, and friendly donkeys. Dioclécio greeted us, and had great recommendations for hikes and information about the local area. We would love to come and visit again!

Comfortable rooms, pleasant wooden floor, kitchen will all you need available, grill given at first request despite the Sunday. Cookies/fresh bread brought every morning. Houses are surrounded by nature, hiking trails are close. And forgot to mention a separate closed terasse
