Set in a stunning location on a sunny hilltop overlooking the Stegersbach thermal spa, the Falkensteiner Balance Resort Stegersbach—Adults only stands out for its harmonious and extravagant design. We travel a lot, but perhaps never before have we stayed in a place that so practically translates its credo: “Welcome Home”. The caring environment we faced at every point made every moment truly home. The very kind staff at the reception, in the restaurants - host person, servers and chefs -, in the bars and in the spa area; the pianist gentleman; the room preparation; Peter who helped with the car hire; all showed a kindness rarely seen in life or in the hotel industry. We had a great time! Thank you very much to everyone we had the opportunity to meet and to those who work behind the scenes to make such a customer experience possible. We will definitely be back!

The house is really cozy, the fireplace makes the whole place warm and welcoming. The breakfast is prepared by the owner, this time she even respected our wish to make it vegetarian and it was actually even better. There are also eggs in the fridge if you want to make something yourself and delicious homemade jams. I have been to a lot of guest houses but few offered such variety of food at breakfast. The room is very comfortable, it really feels like home each time we return. There is a really charming little pond behind the house in the garden, we just love sitting there with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. This is one of our favorite places to go for a weekend, I can most definitely recommend it.

They showed and explained to us everything we needed for our stay when we arrived. The atmosphere and view of the Blockhaus are just magical, the interior thoughtfully and stylishly furnished. It was a wonderful stay!
