Stay Nikko Guesthouse is amazing. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful, explaining clearly how everything works and even took time to help us plan where to visit. The amenities we great and modern and very clean, and included a microwave and washer dryer. They even wash your dishes when you are out exploring! The beds were traditional futon very very comfortable and the neighbourhood is quiet giving us a perfect night's rest. The Guesthouse is situated along the river which is great for a morning walk and the Tobu Nikko station is close enough not to need a tax (10 mins walk)i but far enough to be away from the crowds. The perfect getaway. Thank you for being so welcoming.

We had a very very pleasant stay at Hiro sans lovely Ryokan. He is such a warm hearted person and takes care of just everything. He even offered and prepared the little private Onsen for us on every day we stayed there, which was just perfect after a long winterday in Nikko. Hiro san also offered a free shuttle from and to the trainstation, from where you get to all the main destinations. We are so happy that we stayed there. Thank you so much, Hiro san :)

Everything was awesome!! The host was just soooooo kind!!! As much as her english was limited, she was always making efforts to make the message understandable. She recommended me many spots to check out, explained the surroundings clearly, spent time making sure I was comfortable with my room, which was super authentic. I would recommend anytime!!!

The host is very friendly and provided plenty of suggestions for nearby attractions. They were also very thoughtful in sharing dinner recommendations in the area. The accommodation is conveniently located close to Toshogu Shrine and other attractions, all within walking distance. Of course, the room is very clean and comfortable, and you can even enjoy a bath. The accommodation has many adorable collections inside. The value for money is excellent!
