Located just 700 metres from Mauterndorf Castle, Haus Helga offers accommodation in Mauterndorf with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Helga was extremely helpful and kind even though we arrived quite late. The room was big enough, clean, so absolutely perfect, and we even had a balcony with nice view. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and they offer not just wite bread but different options as well. The ski bus (no. 280) to Obertauern is approx. 5 min walk in ski boots and with skis.

Excellent breakfast that exceeds expectations! The hotel has an amazing restaurant serving not only breakfast but local dishes for lunch and dinner!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Mariapfarr, Haus Christophorus is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. Based on the pictures we were expecting a very clean but no frills accommodation. Both our hosts and accommodation exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were very welcoming, we got little sweets on our bed at arrival, they were very flexible with our early departure on Sunday. The whole experience had a human and local touch. Our room was spacious and very warm, it was more like a 1-bed flat than a double room. The kitchen was very well equipped with a fridge, microwave, pots for the cooker, lemon squeezer, and plenty of mugs. Breakfast was very delicious, the bread and the fruit were very fresh.

With mountain views, Gasthof Auwirt is situated in Sankt Michael im Lungau and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and outdoor fireplace. Very friendly staff, super comfortable, good breakfast. Dinner is very delicious and highly recommended!

Set within the sunny Lungau and Mariapfarr ski regions, the 3-star superior Hotel Aloisia, Hotel Garni is surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama. Perfect place for a weekend trip, sauna and spa area were amazing! Late arrival was not an issue, only a 20min drive from Obertauern. Nice breakfast, overall excellent value for money. Staff was lovely.

The DAV-Haus, run by the Deutscher Alpenverein, is located in the centre of Obertauern, only 50 metres away from the Gamsleiten ski lifts. Parking is available free of charge. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located right next to the ski slope, everything is nearby, the room is small but clean, the staff is very friendly, excellent breakfast and dinner. We really enjoyed it and would come back again!
