Set in the historic centre of Traunkirchen, at the shore of the Traunsee lake, Apartments im LOIDLs GUESTHOUSE offers a garden and free WiFi. Private on-site parking is available at a surcharge. The house consists of multiple apartments of different sizes. We were on the lower level, and in spite of concerns it would be cold during our winter stay it was very warm. In fact, the apartment is heated from floors, which means your feet stay warm too. Besides that… Kitchen is well equipped. Apartment is very clean and modern. Bathroom has new and high quality faucets. Traunkirchen is a very beautiful destination with a dozen of trails for hiking. The hosts were friendly. Unfortunately, we broke some glasses because it was a big company, but this was resolved in a very reputable manner. We would come back again!

Hubert and Heidi were friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. When I arrived I explained I had lost my wallet on the bus journey there. They were very understanding and phoned a friend from the village, who worked for the bus company. The wallet was later found and returned to the Salzburg office, the friend collected it for me and dropped it off at B&B Simmer at midnight (the end of her shift). Hubert stayed up specially and returned the wallet to me at breakfast (all intact). Such acts of kindness made our holiday extra memorable. Thank you all so much.

We also stayed on the day when the restaurant was closed, which meant that there were no people around and everything was very quiet. It's a great stay if you want to avoid other "touristic" locations. And the restaurant is a must to visit.

Great breakfast, very nice host. Great environment for hiking or biking. A number of lakes to visit. Also Hallstat and Salzburg.

Set in Mondsee, within 29 km of Messezentrum Exhibition Center and 30 km of Salzburg Central Station, Pension Strobl offers accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who... We enjoyed our stay at Pension Strobl immensely. The pension is either new or very recently and very nicely refurbished, our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the view of the lake was amazing, breakfast was very tasty, with a nice assortment of items... It was a great place to stay, both if you want to explore the wider area around Salzburg, and if you want to rest and and enjoy nature. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again.
