Every experience is different, so please come with an open mind and heart and spend some days in Tetebatu. There‘s lots to discover. Waterfalls, local craft, ricefields and plants, etc. We booked most of the tours directly at the guesthouse. The food at the guesthouse is fresh and so tasty (please be aware that it might take a bit longer for the preparation, but its well worth the wait, as everything is prepared freshly). We got to experience the authentic Sasak culture here and we are very grateful for that. Thank you so much to Andi, Heru and the whole staff for making our time here truly special and unforgettable. The property's location provided us with stunning vistas of palm trees and the mesmerizing sunsets over the Gili lslands, just a short walk up the hill. Their two charming dogs and adorable cat added a delightful touch to our stay. Jeanie and Josh's hospitality was outstanding. They cooked a delicious dinner for us and went above and beyond to assist us with additional arrangements during our stay. Thank you for making our visit so memorable!"

Featuring a balcony with pool views, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Kristal Garden can be found in Sekotong, close to Tawun Beach and 1.7 km from Sekotong Beach. The place is very clean, new, simple, quiet but at the same time comfortable it is located at the end of a small street of a balinese hindu village and you can see and breathe the authenticity of the place. Wayan is fantastic, a smart guy, nice and ready to solve all your requests and make this place even more pleasant. The simple restaurant is far two minutes by walk but Wayan can bring the food to your bungalow even if it is a pity to lose the magnificent sea view from the restaurant and the friendliness of the staff. We will definitely come back here when we return from gili gede. Thank you Wayan

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Mysha Guest House-Lombok is a recently renovated guest house set in Tetebatu, 13 km from Tetebatu Monkey Forest. Tete Batu is a must if you are on Lombok island especially if you are looking for nature and authentic people & food. We loved to stay at "Mysha guest house" especially for the thoughtful people we have met ( Sukri & Amin), who took care to make us visit the village (we recommend the nature walk day trip) in a very authentic way, but who also cooked a delicious breakfast for us, which convinced us to try the Sasak food they make (with fresh ingredients from the local people) - delicious 🤤 ! The hosts speak very good English and also learning French - they are very welcoming to learn. Overall, a great place to have an authentic stay in Tete Batu. 😍 Thomas & Caty

From the delightful breakfasts delivered to your room, to the adorable bunnies hopping around the garden, this place was really special. The staff is super nice too, like Wawan who looks after many things, and he may just surprise you with a fresh coconut. And Zakki, the owner! Who is such a good guy, and very caring towards his animals. All in all, a 10 out of 10

Have stayed for two long stays in the past 3 months. It's one of the only places I have gone back to in the last year that I have been travelling. The staff are amazing, the quality for the price is perfect ie. basic rooms. They offer scooter rentals, surfing lessons and have partners that will take you to anywhere, to do anything, on Lombok. Highly recommend Surf Camp 79. Highly highly recommend.
