The food served for dinner and breakfast was really good, almost all the food (vegetables, fruits, etc) were from their property and home made. Jennie was always keen to share information about anything you can ask. She was helpful with an issue I had regarding a boat ticket.

The stay in Tetebatu was my first ever experience of Indonesia and, wow! - was I absolutely smitten with its simplicity and beauty. The price of accommodation is so minuscle that it only makes sense to support homestay owners by joining on their local tours. After all, they offer not just their time, but their valuable local experience. Walk with them the rice fields, see and hear about the agriculture, jump into the cave waterfalls, watch the local ladies weave sarongs and make clay pottery, drive to the local market and ask your hosts to explain the local foods. If you are not the hike-or-die type, ask your hosts to bring you up to the foothills of Rinjani - and breathe in silence... I've seen and felt in a week more than I would do in two months back home. Also, very important!, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe with my hosts. I felt protected, respected and genuinely understood.

Great location, very helpfull staff and nice breakfast. The staff helped us booking tours and ferry. And went above and beyond to help us during our whole stay there. Everyone is friendly and easy going. Fendi gave us great recomendations about where to eat, see the sunset and where to go. Thanks again for the wonderful time there. We will definitely recommend you to our friends!

The bungalows have just been renovated and they are pristine! I cannot get over how lovely the accommodation is, but more importantly how incredibly friendly every member of staff is. I could not recommend here more. It really feels homely and so lovely.

We enjoyed a fantastic evening with the boys from the accommodation on the terrace. Everyone was really welcoming and the view from the terasse is just stunning. We would stay here again.
