Very clean with all necessary facilities in the kitchen. Just outside of the guesthouse, there’s a free shuttle bus to ski resort in the morning. Even 20-30 mins walk to Hakuba train station and supermarket, during winter, it’s a little bit far, however it is still within walking distance. Affordable and comfortable place to stay for solo traveler.

Clean stay with the friendliest host. We enjoyed the onsen with wonderful mountain and sea views as well as an ice cream gift after bathing! The host allowed us to drop off our luggae early which freed us to stroll around the temple nearby and the rest of Atami, all of the host’s recommendations! My friends and I used the common area often as it was filled with natural light and windows across the entire span of the room. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay!

Nastanitev Machiya Guest House Carta ponuja nastanitvene enote v mestu Kanazawa, v bližini znamenitosti D. T. Suzuki Museum in Shofukaku Garden. The room we had in this lovely 100 year old building was beautiful. Large with extremely comfortable Japanese beds. The hosts were extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay. There was a small kitchen to prepare hot drinks or microwave food. Everywhere was very clean and well kitted out. We have stayed in several Ryokan recently. This was undoubtedly the best!

The host is incredibly hospitable , friendly and humerous. I had an awesome stay while visiting Mt Fuji. The breakfast was different every morning, and each time it was delicious and wholesome. The House was spotless and very beautifully furnished.

The house is small but very cute with all amenities available. Only one shower for men and one for women but since there are not many rooms, it wasn’t a problem. Several toilets. Cute little terrace in our room as well. The host was very nice and accommodating. Free parking.
