A random search led us to Guesthouse Shigi and what a lucky find! 10 minutes drive from Magome-juku and plenty of beautiful natural sights to explore nearby. We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. Had a lovely chat with Assi the owner and he even hand picked the record for us to listen to that night. The house is impeccably maintained and every detail is cared for.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Hashima, ゲストハウス岐阜羽島心音 Guest House Gifuhashima COCONE is a guest house surrounded by views of the city. Very clean place. I have stayed at 5 stars hotels for this trip and this humble abode can rival them. The bathtub is well equipped with spa facilities. The kitchen is well-stocked with condiments from olive oil to soy sauce for real cooking. My family purchased quality beef from the nearby supermarkets and cooked our own wagyu. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in the outskirts of nagoya.

In the Magome district of Nakatsugawa, close to Magome Wakihonjin Museum, Guest House Motomiya has a garden and a washing machine. Wow, both the dinner and the breakfast were exceptional and the host was so welcoming throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable, clean and calm and the shared shower and toilet facilities were clean and well managed. Guest house Motomiya feels like a home and the amount of love and care put into it is very evident.

Featuring mountain views, Guest House Hinode offers accommodation with free bikes, a garden and a shared lounge, around 2.6 km from Takayama Station. Great service by the owner. We could do the check in earlier. He explained all so kindly and everything was so clean and in a respectful environment. He drove us in the morning to the station

The owner, Tack, was very friendly and helpful. The hostel is within easy walking distance of the train and bus station as well as the Old Town.
