Beautiful property, beautiful area, very relaxing private onsen and wonderful staff. A nice breakfast to be enjoyed in the morning as well. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. The staff are super friendly, the owner (I think) even drove us to one of the stations as we were leaving, we had far too much luggage at this point in our trip and it was challenging for us.

Open from August 2017, Guest House Wagokoro offers a modern Japanese-style accommodation an 8-minute stroll away from JR Nippori Station. Each room comes with an en suite bathroom and toilet. Suberb and friendly staff, they could help us even before asking :) Hotel itself is super tidy and peaceful combination of western style and traditional ryokans. The neighborhood is cozy as well and the subway station is within a 5-10min walk.

Situated within 38 km of Nikko Station and 38 km of Tobu Nikko Station, Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口 features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Utsunomiya. Real peak of how a traditional Japanese house is from the inside. I enjoyed my stay very much, shared stories with the owner who friendly joined me at the living room. Walkable distance to everything you want to see in Utsunomiya and then take the train to Nikko, perfect!

A recently renovated property, 波奈 浅草 Hana Asakusa ーSkyTree前駅まで徒歩5分ー is situated in Tokyo near Hatonomachidori Shopping Street, Aizome Museum and Tsukada Kobo. Location is convenient and quiet. A little small for 4 (as it’s Tokyo) but has everything. Clean! The host Kasuki sen is super nice and patient. Very helpful showing us around his community.

Located within 35 km of Kumagaya Rugby Stadium and 48 km of Ishidan-gai Steps in Kiryu, Okiya Guest House & Tapas Bar offers accommodation with seating area. Fabulous breakfast, and even some wonderful tapas and pizza for lunch and dinner. Gabrielle is a fantastic chef!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. She showed us places where we could eat and gave us a map with the bus timetable. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. I think it was my best sleep in any hotel I have ever stayed in. There is also an electric heater under the futon, if you need one. Just like other reviewers mentioned, In the morning we were given a breakfast that was not included in the price. It contained meat, bread, multiple vegetables and fruits. Again, the best breakfast I ever had.

The host was very welcoming and accommodating. Traditional provided breakfasts were wonderful. She even drove us to a shrine on the first day to make sure we could get to it before it closed. This was a perfect stay house for a couple looking to get away from the bustle of a hotel.
