J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. The quality of the onsen was excellent. The use of the kitchen and communal dining areas were very convenient. The location was also great, minutes away from the Kumado Kudo trail.

Situated just 500 metres from Shingu Castle Ruins Park, AJITO Hostel & CafeBar provides accommodation in Shingu with access to free bikes, a bar, as well as full-day security. Very clean and modern, excellent quality amenities were provided. Everything was done with a lot of thought and care. I felt so relaxed to arrive after a long travel day to a place so comfortable. Loved the pajamas too. The owner is also very friendly and accommodating - we went to his restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing and everyone was sooo welcoming

Set within 1.4 km of Nachi Beach and 1.1 km of Nachikatsuura Sports and Cultural Center, 自由自屋 offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Nachikatsuura. 3min walk from the JR station. Clean simplistic furnishings Muji style but has all the things needed, even a portable night lamp. Has only 2 exclusive rooms on the 3rd floor. 2nd floor is the bathroom and toilet, open pantry and relax chill corner. Ground floor is a co-working space. Family mart is 7 min walk away and the fish auction market was also within short walking distance. Place was quiet after 5pm but staff had recommended a good sushi restaurant that I enjoyed.
