The room itself was lovely, with private shower and toilet. There’s also a kitchen available for guests. And I also enjoyed the pleasant incense on the first floor :)

The host is super friendly and organized, she even gave us photos of Kyoto which were taken by her husband as souvenirs. The amenities were above and beyond, location is quaint and cute. Highly recommend.

Emiko and her family were so sweet and thoughtful. They made the place so warm, welcoming and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

The rules are explained to me very clearly. I had a personal locker, which was large. The bed was quite comfy too. The facilities are very clean, Owners are great people and good communicators. Please ask them about what to do/see/taste in Kyoto, since they are very knowledgeable about the topic. Will stay again the next time I am in Kyoto.

Very clean and nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable and the apartment is really spacious compared to other places I’ve stayed in Kyoto, will definitely stay again!
