At first I was surprised by the good ratings, but it was indeed well deserved! The staff was very friendly and the guesthouse is very spacious, with a great view to the mountain and the sea. Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owner treated us so nice! The property is in a quiet village but very close to the train station. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner even allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout and then gave us a ride to the train station. Would definitely come again!

Daisuke San and Daruma the CEO were wonderful hosts! All of the staff was very helpful and gave us so many suggestions for where to go and how to get there. The location was very close to the train, and the home itself was spacious and clean.

It's an absolutely wonderful place. I cannot believe there is such a dreaming place ever exist. The garden is beautiful. The hot spring is amazing. The whole set of room is comfy, it has bedroom, living room with kitchen and bathroom. The shower room has tub as well. Owner pick up and drop off the day arrive and departure which is wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is delicious especially sitting in the flower sun room with soothing background music. This stay is a wonderful experience with marvelous Ito exploring.
