Situated within 300 metres of Rinconcito Beach and 700 metres of Mazunte Beach in Mazunte, Casa de Kai Mazunte features accommodation with seating area. The owner is a really sweet lady who always made sure we're happy and asked if we need any cleaning. The room is simple but clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed having a table by the window for work and a fridge with some welcome beers and a bottle of water. There is a basket with first aid, knife and some other essentials in the room whish is a lovely detail. Even though there's just a fan we were okay because the windows with mosquito nets assure good circulation. The wi-fi was good enough for work. It is true that the shower is just a pipe without a shower head but I actually prefer that to weak pressure showers in many other places. Bonus: extremely friendly cat 😁 Perfect location close to the beach as well as the colectivos on the main road. Plenty of great food spots nearby. We would definitely come back!

Perfect location, 4min walk of la punta beach. Safe and quiet area Very calm hostel, good place to meet people, good place to sleep in a comfy space, the capsules are air conditioned and gives u lots of privacy for not a lot of money Dalia is the best host, she treats each guest as a priority and helps in every way possible. Its a social hostel but hasnt got party vibes, so go party outside. Would definitely recommend and definitely get back there.

Situated less than 1 km from Principal Beach, Casa Sixta offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. Magnolia was a superb host, always making sure we were comfortable. She also allowed us to hang out in the common area after checkout to wait for our evening bus. The room we got was very spacious, and nicely decorated in a minimalist way. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom room. There was a small shared kitchen that we could use to prepare our own meals, and the Chedraui supermarket was just a short walk away (beside the ADO bus station). This was perfect for us—to prepare our own meals after gorging a bit in Oaxaca City. The location of the accommodation was great. Short walk from the ADO bus station and Chedraui supermarket, and it wasn't too hard to walk to the various beaches too.

Villa Bonobo - Coliving in Puerto Escondido provides adults-only accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar. 10/10 whether you want to keep to yourself or join in on activities — there’s a WhatsApp group which is handy. Myrna, Chris and the whole team were so sound and welcoming. It’s also a beautiful place. I really enjoyed it!

Hostal Central Oaxaca features accommodation situated 1.1 km from the centre of Oaxaca City and offers a garden and a shared lounge. Best hostel I've stayed in. Great activities, lovely staff, not a party hostel with people looking to get drunk or hook up but a real communal family vibe. Best decision I made was staying here.

Samora Luxury Resort has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Santa María Colotepec. This place is like heaven. Your room is like a home, the staff is like a family. Middle of the night I had a problem with my car. The owner woke up and helped me until the problem was solved! I travel a lot, privately and for business too. This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in my life. I think about booking a trip from Europe, just to see this hotel again.

Boasting a patio with garden views, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air bath, La Playita Beach House can be found in Puerto Escondido, close to Zicatela Beach and 1.4 km from Marinero Beach. I was here with a group of friends and it was terrific. The property is lovely and chill, the rooms are clean, and you get daily cleaning. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal. The swimming pool is great. The beach nearby is not for swimming but with the free bikes they have you can easily get to the one nearby. Also, the taxi is not expensive (around 100 pesos). I would definitely come here again.

Offering city views, Posada Nautica is an accommodation situated in Mazunte, 300 metres from Mazunte Beach and 600 metres from Agustinillo Beach. The place is very clean with all you need! Set in Mazunte, a few steps from Mazunte Beach, Posada Ziga Playa offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. It was the perfect place to stay for a beach vacation. You only hear the sound of the waves and all the staff are super friendly. We really liked having water available to refill our bottle.
