We found this small hotel to be extremely charming, comfortable and perfectly located in downtown Coimbra. Our third-floor room (Cidreira) was clean and spacious, with sound-dampening panels on the shutters to minimize street noise. The antique pharmacy that served as the lobby was a very charming spot to enjoy the complimentary coffee, tea, fruit and muffins. Since the hotel is largely self-service, we could arrive and depart when it suited us, and we availed ourselves of their convenient luggage storage after checkout. While the lobby isn't constantly staffed, we met two staff members during our visit and both were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Coimbra.

We stayed there with our three years old son and it was fantastic. The place is beautiful and perfect for families. They have an amazing garden with fruits, an area with chickens and lots of space for playing. The breakfast was excellent, everything was fresh and homemade, many items cooked with fruits from the garden. The host was great too, very helpful. Also Uber from the guest house to the city centre is only 5 euros. Looking forward to staying again!

Objekat Guest House Santa Clara gleda na reku Mondego i Univerzitet u Koimbri. Absolutely fantastic place to stay. From the initial booking communication with Sofia was great. Place itself sits next to the river, 10 mins walk from the historical center. Bunch of brunch restaurants across the street, free and secure underground garage Convento de S Francisco 2 mins from the house and Aldi 5 mins. Room itself was spacious and clean and surprisingly not noisy at all considering where it sits, with fantastic view of the old town.

Marina Charming House offers accommodation in the heart of Figueira da Foz, a 3-minute walk from Casino Figueira. The property boasts a terrace and views of the sea, the marina and the Mondego river. Great place, friendly staff. The breakfast was fresh and tasty and the premises were clean. We loved it.

Coimbra is split into two sides by the river, the busy side with the university and the quaint residential side, and this flat is on the residential side. The location is as scenic as it gets - but expect a VERY uphill walk to get there!

Everything was amazing. Beautiful place and Maria and the young boy were so helpful. Love the place and the little conversation we had. The property is gated so for rented car amazing so you not worry. The place is shared place but clean and beautiful.

Great location- close walk to town. Host Jonas was lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was superb. Loved all the beautiful details I’m the kitchen/ bathroom/ bedroom. Nicest accomodation we have stayed in Portugal for this price bracket. Definitely a cut above the rest.
