The owners are so friendly & welcoming. We loved the pool & the sense of space. We will definitely be back. The area is lovely too.

Le Village Enchanteur er sumarhúsabyggð með fjallaskálum í La Chapelle-Aubareil, í hjarta skógar og í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Lascaux-hellunum. A delightfully, friendly couple greeted us on arrival. The cottages are very clean and tidy. Excellent walk in shower. Roomy accommodations. The kitchen is well equipped. The peaceful, quiet setting in the forest. And a great base location to explore the Cro Magnon sites, Beynac, Sarlat, etc... . Excellent. We would stay here again.

Castelwood er staðsett í skóginum, í 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Chateau de Biron, 20 km suður af Dordogne-dalnum. Eignin er með útisundlaug og rúmgóð gistirými með verönd. We stayed in the tree house which is truly amazing, It has all the facilities that you could possibly need and more and is so comfortable. We have had the most relaxing break in the forest location which gave us the feeling that we were so close to nature in our 'get away from it all' weeks holiday. The location is near to the many beautiful towns, villages and local attractions so there's so much to explore. The hosts are super friendly, they are close enough as in if we needed help they are there but not at all intrusive. The only disappointment we felt was that our holiday was not long enough but we will certainly return in the near future.

Chateau De Puy Robert Guest House er staðsett í hjarta Black Périgord, 800 metrum frá Lascaux-hellunum og í 20 mínútna akstursfæri frá Sarlat-la-Canéda. The location, the castle, the location, everything was perfect!

Les Chalets du Périgord er staðsett í Sarlat-la-Canéda og býður upp á yfirbyggða útisundlaug og bar. Ókeypis WiFi er í boði. Very nice little camping, nice hosts, easy communication. Great location in the Périgord region, for all the prehistoric sites. The cabin was spacious, mattresses good, it was a rainy and cold April day, but when we started the radiators the room was heated in no time. Bathroom small but sufficient. Everything very clean. Coffee machine with 3 complimentary capsules (thoughtful that 2 were for coffee, 1 for hot chocolate, as we were travelling with our 8-year old son). The pool was well kept and functioning, which was great as we arrived at 5 pm on a rainy day. The breakfast was plentiful, coffee good. Also, the owners provide a lot of information about the area. Really, the only regret was that we were there just for a night.

Les Chalets d'Argentouleau er staðsett í 1 km fjarlægð frá miðaldabænum Sarlat og býður upp á víðáttumikið útsýni yfir bæinn. Það er með útisundlaug með busllaug og snarlbar sem selur ís. The bungalows are great, with plenty of space around, in calm surroundings, and with great views. The whole site is not very big, which adds to the good atmosphere. All personnel members were very friendly and helpful. The common area, with a.o. laundromats, and a great swimming pool, table tennis, and a free pool billiards table and table football table was great. My son loved it so much, we spend one full day there. They also sell good cocktails, tapas and paella for reasonable prices, which adds a lot to the comfort. The site is a nice downwards stroll away of medieval Sarlat, though it's a pretty steep climb back. But you can also go by car, and park below at a free parking on the road below to avoid the climb back. The site is also a 5 minute drive away of a big Carrefour shopping center. And Sarlat is also very near the Dordogne and Vezere valley, so it's a great place to stay.

Lagrange Vacances Les Bastides de Lascaux er staðsett 1,5 km frá miðbæ Montignac, við ána Vezere. Það er með upphitaða sundlaug sem er að hluta til yfirbyggð og gufubað og eimbað. Excellent value when traveling off season in September, patio was great in the evening, slept with the window open every night with the only sound an owl in the the local woods.

Résidence Odalys er staðsett í hjarta Périgord Noir-svæðisins, 25 km frá Sarlat. Le Hameau du Moulin er tilvalið fyrir fjölskyldufrí og í boði eru heillandi smáhús og íbúðir með nútímalegri aðstöðu. This is not a hotel for a couple. The small apartment was full of bedrooms and beds upstairs, and the toilette was downstairs. Not very comfortable. There was no privacy as all the outside areas were all connected. We arrived on the 14th of July and there was no soap and very little toilette paper. As it was a holiday, everything was shut! Extremely annoying! Too expensive for what we got!
