Offering a seasonal salted outdoor swimming pool, Le Village Enchanteur is a holiday park with chalets located in La Chapelle-Aubareil, at the heart of a forest, a 5-minute drive from Lascaux Caves. A delightfully, friendly couple greeted us on arrival. The cottages are very clean and tidy. Excellent walk in shower. Roomy accommodations. The kitchen is well equipped. The peaceful, quiet setting in the forest. And a great base location to explore the Cro Magnon sites, Beynac, Sarlat, etc... . Excellent. We would stay here again.

Set in the woods, Castelwood is a 10-minute walk from the Chateau de Biron, 20 km south of the Dordogne valley. The estate has an outdoor swimming pool and spacious rentals with a terrace. Very charming location and chalets. Chalets are spacious, comfy, clean, well equipped, with big windows as well as the outdoor patio. Perfect

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and sun terrace, Chateau De Puy Robert Guest House is set in the heart of Black Périgord, 800 metres from Lascaux Caves and a 20-minute drive from Sarlat-la-Canéda. The location, the castle, the location, everything was perfect!

Offering an outdoor, covered swimming pool, and a bar, Les Chalets du Périgord is located in Sarlat-la-Canéda. Free WiFi access is available. A lovely little campsite in a nice wooded location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great pool with a roof so can be enjoyed even when it's raining. Our house was spacious and well equipped. You can order croissants and baguettes in the evening and pick them up or get delivered to your house in the morning. The campsite is located on a steep hill about 20-30 min walk from town. The climb is something to bear in mind if you don't bring a car. We didn't mind it but for some it might be a challange.

Located 1 km from the medieval town of Sarlat, Les Chalets d'Argentouleau offers a panoramic view of the town. The bungalows are great, with plenty of space around, in calm surroundings, and with great views. The whole site is not very big, which adds to the good atmosphere. All personnel members were very friendly and helpful. The common area, with a.o. laundromats, and a great swimming pool, table tennis, and a free pool billiards table and table football table was great. My son loved it so much, we spend one full day there. They also sell good cocktails, tapas and paella for reasonable prices, which adds a lot to the comfort. The site is a nice downwards stroll away of medieval Sarlat, though it's a pretty steep climb back. But you can also go by car, and park below at a free parking on the road below to avoid the climb back. The site is also a 5 minute drive away of a big Carrefour shopping center. And Sarlat is also very near the Dordogne and Vezere valley, so it's a great place to stay.

This Lagrange Vacances Les Bastides de Lascaux is located 1.5 km from Montignac town centre, on the Vezere River. It has a semi-covered heated swimming pool and a sauna and steam room. Excellent value when traveling off season in September, patio was great in the evening, slept with the window open every night with the only sound an owl in the the local woods.

Situated in the heart of the Périgord Noir region, 25 kilometres from Sarlat, Résidence Odalys Le Hameau du Moulin is ideal for family holidays and offers charming maisonettes and apartments equipped... This is not a hotel for a couple. The small apartment was full of bedrooms and beds upstairs, and the toilette was downstairs. Not very comfortable. There was no privacy as all the outside areas were all connected. We arrived on the 14th of July and there was no soap and very little toilette paper. As it was a holiday, everything was shut! Extremely annoying! Too expensive for what we got!
