Walking distance to the bird sanctuary (a little dilapidated but worth it for the stork colony) and the lakeshore, and perfect location for walking or cycling along various canals (bikes and directions provided for free). Room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts were fabulous too, as well as conversations with the hosts, who built this charming "wooden castle" as a labor of love. We had engaging conversations and shared stories. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The homestay is located near a quiet rural road that runs alongside a canal and passes through villages and rice fields.
