I recommend taking a local bus from the stand nearby to Kundukad for a walk/tuk tuk ride up to the Cheppara Rock Garden for lovely countryside and views. Also eat at Hotel Bharath where the locals go.

It is a nicely decorated traditional house with nice artefacts and modern amenities. The location is faraway from the traffic and nestled between paddy fields and the garden is the highlight and nice for Pets to walk around.
