Our stay was one of the best we have ever had. We formed a bond with Afiq (Erik) and Peggy who are running this great place, it's location is great for getting around the whole island but you will need transport and a scotter can be hired from them. It's location is in a very quiet rural part of the island and is surrounded by Padi fields, Afiq is knowledgeable and very helpful and nothing is to much trouble. Breakfast is plentyful and nice and the rooms have all you need for a comfortable stay. We have promised that we will return here as we enjoyed it that much. This accommodation is on the lower price scale but don't let that put you off it's fantastic. There are plenty of places to eat close by with local Malay and western food, all at very reasonable prices. Again Afiq will tell you. This is the perfect place if you are chilled and relaxed, with a great views of the mountain and surrounding area. And there will soon be comfy chairs to sit in and waste away the hours. Afiq and Peggy are doing a fantastic job and we can't thank them enough. Don't look any further you have found the perfect accommodation, go on book it and enjoy it we did. We had a fantastic two-night stay at Tanabendang Banglos with our family. The traditional architecture and peaceful surroundings made for a perfect retreat. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. A special mention goes to the adorable cats on the property—they were a delightful surprise and added so much charm to our stay. Our kids loved them! One suggestion: it would be helpful if the location were added to Google Maps and Waze for easier navigation. It would make finding this hidden gem even more convenient for future guests. Overall, Tanabendang Banglos is a gem in Langkawi, perfect for families seeking a cozy, relaxing getaway. We can’t wait to return!
