The hotel is managed by a family, from entering the door till I left, I felt very welcomed. The hotel has a nice garden and dinner was always very good. Can totally recommend it.

Also it’s a pretty coffee shop rich you have to go through to reach your room.

A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.
