Staff here is incredible, super cute and helpful 😍. Never seen before. Girls recommend us what to do and help with organization, transport etc.. 10/10

Offering garden views, Maison Manendra - Bromo is an accommodation located in Gubukklakah, 22 km from Mount Bromo and 25 km from Velodrome Malang. The location of the Maison Manendra is perfect..surrounded by „greens“…in the middle of the nature and still close to Mount Bromo. I need to mention Rani, her husband and their service team - all of them made us feel like staying „home“…!

Homestay located in a very peacefull neighborhood, the room is clean and they have comfy communal space. Mas Jali and the team, Mbak Naya and Mas Dewo, are super friendly and helpful. Mas Jali even took me to the local flea market, hunting some old stuff, and we went on a walk to malioboro. The other thing I like on my stay here is I can meet other travelers from various place with various interesting stories.

Situated in Sukobumi, within 36 km of Mount Lamongan, Brak Homestay is an accommodation offering city views. This homestay features free private parking and full-day security. Lovely home stay, comfy beds, very helpful and kind owner. He told us of all the options to visit Mount Bromo (one could book the tour directly via the owner) and we ended up staying at Brak for 2 nights and doing the Mt Bromo trip directly from Probolinggo. We pre-ordered a Gojek (like Grab) at 2 am for 250k, the driver drove us to Cemorolawang, we did the hike and everything, had breakfast in Cemorolawang, then came back to Probolinggo. We can back with the same driver, but one can easily also use the shared minivans, it is easy to get from Cemorolawang to Probolinggo during the day. When we came back, the owner greeted us with tea and we had a good rest. Doing Mt. Bromo from Probolinggo is easy and less tiresome, we’re happy we chose this way! I can only recommend this guesthouse, this was Indonesian hospitality at its best that we experienced.

Located just 1.8 km from Fort Vredeburg, rumah566 provides accommodation in Yogyakarta with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, cozy and nice to be outside of the main centre but with easy access by foot or grab.. The hosts are very nice and they even gave us little Indonesian pancakes for breakfast which was a nice surprise.
