The host Mr. Abbas is a very good and polite human. Everything was perfect as per price. Room and toilet were clean and equipped with hot water facilities. Room was spacious and well comfort. I must recommend this homestay if you are a budget traveler and wanting a homely environment.

I can’t say enough about this stay and the service. The manager, Lawrence, is an outstanding host and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. After we were all checked in and settled, Lawrence gave us a detailed WhatsApp message info about all the activities around the area. He also made sure we were driven to and picked up from where ever we needed to go for ZERO COST. The owner was actually the one driving us and him and his family were extremely kind. They fed us a good South Indian breakfast. This was also the quietest night of sleep we’ve had in India!

They organised a fantastic early morning Periyar bird tour, a trip to Abaraham's Spice Garden and an evening watching the martial arts show for us. Sunila even provided us with a lovely egg curry on the night we arrived. I wish them all the best with their Homestay, they really deserve it!

Such a nice family who invited us to their own home. We had breakfast with their daughter and were invited in the kitchen to learn what they were making. They really gave us good feeling and helped with everything we needed. We took their smallest room, but it was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great

Panthalams Residency ligger blot 100 meter fra Periyar Tiger Reserve og har restaurant. Der er gratis WiFi. Samtlige værelser har balkon og opholdsområde. Værten var meget hjælpsom og venlig. Han hjalp med at komme ind i naturreservatet, på nogle ture. Hjælpsom med busser videre fra Kumily. Værelset var godt

Green View ligger i Thekkady i udkanten af Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Der er gratis WiFi på dette homestay. Thekkadi Park, Periyar Reservoir og Kummily Busstation ligger 500 meter fra ejendommen. Lovely place. Nice and chilled. Nice owner. Good value for money.
