We felt so welcomed by the sweet couple that owns it. We made our booking just a few minutes before our arrival and max was working on our room. He quickly and kindly wrapped things up and let us know this was our home! He gave us food recommendations and told us about the area. He got to practice his English and us our Spanish. He was kind enough to drive us to the bus station the next morning. This was one of my warmest and welcomed stays.

The location was close enough to the main town to have all the amenities but far enough to feel rural.

The hosts were helpful & patient while I spoke spanish. The rooms were basic, out door area was very relaxing with lots of hammocks & seats surrounded by nature. The kitchen was well equipped. For the price we were very happy with this place.

Pretty close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants/bars. The room has everything you need and it looks exactly like the pictures; your own terrace with hammocks are just perfect. Don’t miss the Curry Night on Monday. Marieke and Marc are absolutely amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. Dank je wel!

Set in Moyogalpa, Casa de Gio offers free WiFi and units fitted with a kitchenette and seating area. Some units have a dining area and/or a patio. Guests can relax in the garden at the property. The hosts are super nice and were very amenable to any question/requests we had. We were able to stay an extra night last minute. There was always filtered water to drink which was nice. We rented a scooter for $18/day and it was pretty much brand new and worked great. We would easily stay here again It’s pretty much in town, about 10-15 minutes walk from the ferry.
