This was the best stay we had in all of our travels in Peru. José Luis met us at the dock, and walked us up to the property. At the time of this writing it is late January, and there was an abundance flowers in bloom. The property was gorgeous, and our spacious room over looked Lake Titicaca. The bed was comfortable, and the huge bathroom was spotless! The family was warm, and very easy to love! Pilar is an excellent cook! There was a separate dinning room for guests, but we preferred to eat in the family kitchen as it was so cozy. My boyfriend got the experience of harvesting potatoes, and we escorted José’s mother to get hay for the sheep. If you get to meet Fernanda you will love her. She is an absolute delight! If we could give our stay 100 stars we would!!! We will be back!

Posada de Oliver býður upp á gistirými í Llachon með bar. Þessi gististaður er staðsettur við ströndina og býður upp á ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Nothing could have been better. Thank you Oliver, Sebastiana, Diana and little Adele.

Staying with Isaac & Gladys was a dream. From first communication through our entire stay, they were warm and inviting. They've created a peaceful retreat in the stunning landscape of the Uros and Lake Titicaca. We were treated like royalty, and Isaac spent a lot of time with us teaching us about the Uros, their history and their culture. The accommodations were outstanding as well as their personalized service.

Casa SKALA býður upp á gistingu í Puno og er 2,2 km frá Estadio Enrique Torres Belon, 1,8 km frá Puno-höfninni og 1,7 km frá Bahia de los Incas-göngusvæðinu. The room and the bathroom in such a good shape and new condition! Super clean and most importantly very nice and hot shower(had to wait few mins tho until it warms up). You might think you are far away from the central but there is a minivan that cost 1 soles takes you straight to central part within less than 10 mins and it comes so frequently that you will never have to wait! Big plus for letting us stay without a problem in the place for the whole full day (as we had to get the bus at night to Cusco). Very quiet location!

Diego was a great host! He welcomed us with open arms and made sure we where good. The location is super, the beds where comfy and the food was great.

Richar's home - test Amantani with my family in Amantani býður upp á útsýni yfir vatnið, gistirými og garð. Gististaðurinn státar af farangursgeymslu, veitingastað og arni utandyra. We have been welcomed by the wonderful host Lucrecia (Richar’s wife) alongside with her daughter. The rooms are really nice and clean and the view is just incredible. For lunch dinner and breakfast Lucrecia cooks delicious and healthy meals that we loved. Spending some time there has been truly relaxing and one to one with nature and local culture! Thank you to the family, highly recommended for a unique experience. Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)

Uros Titicaca Khantaniwa Lodge er staðsett í Puno, 5,9 km frá Puno-höfninni og 6 km frá Bahia de los Incas-göngusvæðinu. Boðið er upp á garð- og garðútsýni. A very comfortable lodge with very good view on the floating island of Lake Titicaca. The owner Henry is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

MADA Guest House Puno "Hospedaje" er nýlega enduruppgerður gististaður í Puno, nálægt strætisvagnastöðinni og San Antonio-kirkjunni. Gististaðurinn er með verönd og sameiginlega setustofu. Great place to stay. Everything was clean. Great shower and i liked how the room looked. Very friendly staff. She made us breakfast to go because we had to leave early. Very close near the busstation.

Uros Lodge Lover Titiqaqa er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á sundlaugarútsýni, veitingastað, ókeypis skutluþjónustu, bar og garð. The place was great! The host was super helpful with coordinating our way onto the island and a tour around the Uros islands too. The food was amazing and it was overall a very great value. Even had wifi!

Maya Inn er með verönd og er staðsett í Puno, nálægt Puno-höfninni, Bahia de los Incas Boardwalk og Pino-garðinum. I arrived by bus and it was a 10 minute walk to the hotel, the location was easy to find, very central, just one street back from the main road. Check-in was easy, everything was explained and I was shown to my room. The room was perfect, with plenty of space, clean, fresh bedding and towels, everything clean in the bathroom, quiet and warm considering the temperature got cold outside at night. Breakfast was included, eggs, bread, jam, fruit, yoghurt, juice and coffee or tea. Lake Titicaca pier was a 2 minute walk, and the city center was about 10 minutes away. The staff were very friendly and English is spoken. Although I didn't go, a trip to Lake Titicaca can be arranged. Puno has a nice atmosphere and I liked the hotel and staff, the location was excellent and the price was more than reasonable.
