晶晶輕旅民宿 is situated in Ruifang, 27 km from Raohe Street Night Market, 27 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, and 29 km from Taipei 101. We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.

Boasting a garden and views of sea, A Promised Land BnB is a recently renovated homestay situated in Jiufen, 35 km from Raohe Street Night Market. The stay is absolutely wonderful, although it’s always raining outside. The interior of the house is very new and toilet and shower is very clean. Hot water, aircon, heater, fan is available. Kids love their room (1st floor ) as it’s big and there’s games for them to play. There’s hot water for them to cook cup noodle when they are hungry. There’s a cat outside the lodging n the kids love to go n feed it food. Breakfast is delicious and different everyday. We stay for 2 nights. Timing for breakfast has to be let known before that day so they can prepare warm breakfast. Located in Wulai and only 21 km from Xingnan Night Market, Sla Ulay provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Spacious bathroom with hot springs.

Offering a shared lounge and quiet street view, 106 Homestay is set in Ruifang, 26 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area and 28 km from Taipei 101. Can't expect much for that price. It was a fair deal.

Qu Hi Home Stay is set in Jiufen, 34 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, 36 km from Taipei 101, and 36 km from Taipei Arena. The hosts were extremely hospitable and friendly.

Offering quiet street views, Jeanette Home is an accommodation located in Xizhi, 6.2 km from Raohe Street Night Market and 8.1 km from Taipei 101. The host was amazing, room is also clean and facilities were too good.

Offering a bar and mountain view, M Bar House is situated in Jiufen, 34 km from Raohe Street Night Market and 34 km from Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area. The staff (Candy) was really kind and thoughtful. The room was beautiful as well as the view from it. There were various free snacks in the room with a kettle. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, I didn't want to get out of it! The bathroom was pretty with a curtain separating it from the room, which as Candy said is a traditional Jiufen housing design. The room is cosy. Wonderful, would definitely recommend. Even though there is a bar upstairs, one can hardly know it's there - it doesn't disturb one's peace in the room at all (we stayed from Sunday till Monday). We were also able to put our luggage in before checking in which was very convenient for us.

Located within 35 km of Raohe Street Night Market and 35 km of Wufenpu Garment Wholesale Area, Adagio JinGuaShi provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Jiufen. We had an amazing stay at Adagio, especially thanks to our wonderful host Alex who made us feel very welcome. It was the warmest and most relaxing welcome we received in any hotel during our trip through Taiwan. The scenery and nature around the hotel is really beautiful and we can only recommend coming there. If we come back to Taiwan we will definitely stay here again.
