I had a very enthusiastic welcome from the hostel owner and his son. This hostel was a return to the traditional hostel idea of a place with a warm welcome and the provision of all the hostel essentials but with an uncomplicated simplicity that gives you what you need without any fuss.It was fun to stay in an original Portuguese farm house. It has easy access to nearby major supermarket, fashion shops,DIY store and McDonalds. As well as having good walks in the nearby countryside just a short walk from the Nazare to Fatima comino Trail and easy access by road to Batalha,Fatima and Nazare.I spent three nights at this hostel and enjoyed my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at the Forest Villas - Guest House!
Everything was spotless, and the location was perfect - just a 5-minute walk to the historic centre. I also loved how it’s organized, the self-check-in process was easy and super convenient. They even upgraded my room to one with a fantastic view at no extra cost, which was such a nice surprise!
Meeting Mr. Carlos was a true delight, and he made the experience even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend staying here!

Stayed for few days over New Years and it was a pleasant experience. Stayed in private room and view to Nazare town was beautiful. Really good heating in the room so was never cold. Friendly receptionist and was able to organize check in after 8pm with a code. There’s a communal kitchen which is good. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Location great for going into town as well as climbing up the cliff to the lighthouse.
Surfboard and wetsuit was complementary, but it was a really water logged heavy soft top surfboard, so we didn’t end up using it but appreciate the gesture.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
The staff was friendly, the room eas clean with excellent bathroom, the price was cheap. We could then manage to go around the region with little driving. The beds were ok, not too confortable, to be honest 100%.
