Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Great location in lively, and safe area of San Salvador (Zona Rosa) with lots of good eating places nearby. Apartment easy to find. Condo has 24 hour (armed) security. Single room and bathroom is off laundry room with family living in other part of apartment. Good value as a crash pad. Family very welcoming.
- Really helpful receptionists - I got all the help that I needed with organizing tours, getting recommendations for food /restaurants, transportation from the airport etc.
- The hostel offers in-house tours. Just ask them for the options, they have several ones (also see the uploaded pics)
- Very simple breakfast but it is included in the accommodation price
- Good and safe location
- Fans installed in all sleeping pods
- Decent sized lockers
- Last but not least - card payment option available (except for the external tours)
The hostel is really clean, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is extremely nice, big and well-equipped. The area is very safe. The staff is nice and helpful. There is a nice, relaxing atmosphere about the place.
The hostel is located at a really good neighborhood and at a safe and central area. People are nice, but not intrusive. The staff is helpful when you ask them stuff. They have lockers, but you have to bring your own locket/padlock. The breakfast is slightly different everyday; it is quite simple, but ok. Nice decoration and you can close the curtains of your bunk bed for some privacy.
Very nice hostel and staff. Breakfast was good, not only sweet things. It's a little bit away from the center but in a really clean and safe area if this is important for you. Easy to find. Lots of restaurants around.
The owner is super nice and speak very good English
Well this is by far the cheapest accommodation in San Salvador while all other places charge at least twice as much as here so as a budget backpacker there's no other choice for 1-2 days it is okay if you don't need a fancy room
They do take credit cards
The kitchen has everything it needs
The wi fi was ok too
Hot water in the shower is working
