It is very nice and friendly hostel, with a lot of nice muralls. I like it a lot. Has a common space with tea, coffee, hot water. There is also a kitchen if you need. The room was very nice. Nearby is a nice shop for groccery and a nice coffee. I can fully recommend this place.

- Location: Fantastic, with easy subway access to major attractions. Staying here instead of Manhattan offers a quieter, safer experience with a unique NYC vibe.
- Private Bathroom in Dorms: A big plus! Hot showers had great pressure, and the room stayed cozy even on chilly nights.
-Type-C Charging Points: A big plus! As an international traveler, having Type-C USB ports, even at the bed socket, made charging hassle-free without needing a power converter—super convenient!
- Bar/Café: Affordable options open until 11 pm—very convenient.
- Workspaces: Chill seating areas with charging points, ideal for working and socializing.
- Thoughtful Extras: Free welcome coffee and drink added a warm touch.

Honestly the location of this hostel couldn't be any better, 2 minute walk from the subway and within 15 minutes you're in Times Square. The room was nice and spacious which was a welcome change compared to many hostels I've stayed at previously. A large window which had a privacy film on it provided natural light during the day and an opportunity to watch the subway trains in the evening. There is a 24\7 small store and deli next door which sells hot food and groceries but is more on the pricey side, not sure if that's just NYC. A decently quiet area at night which I had no issues with as a solo female :)

The comment we saw after our booking was confirmed was dirty. But after our stay we found it very clean and tidy. The staff did very well to tell us everything.
Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.
Nice way to stay in NY on a tight budget. Quiet and charming neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean enough and we felt safe and slept well. Located close to a subway station and it only took about 30 minutes to travel to Manhattan.
Rooms are clean and basically as in pictures. Bathroom is very spacious. Great location - subway station is 2 mins by walking (directly to Manhattan). Area seems very safe and hotel staff is super kind and helpful.
Great location, both Greenpoint and the proximity to Manhattan - 1 subway stop to Grand Central, Lovely vibe to the hotel and good space in the room. Safe area with a preponderance of hip coffee shops.
I was expecting typical tiny closet sized NYC accommodation but the 6 bed dorm room was bigger than my house! I felt super comfortable and enjoyed having the bathroom attached to the room as well. The facilities of the hostel were also great with a kitchen and cheap vending machines as well as a massive library selection and gaming room.
Great price, great location in nice safe quiet part of Willamsburg, great quality room which housed two adults and two chidren happily for a night or two. Ty was very friendly and helpful on reception. Our room was nice and quiet 3 floors up and we weren't disturbed by anything. We would definitely come back.
Great location, close to public transport for easy access to Manhattan. Breakfast set you up for the day and having a receptionist there took away all your worries as you had someone there on call - room very spacious and clean.
Overall a very pleasant stay and on budget too, thank you..
Great location, in a close proximity of subway station. Hotel location next to police station adds on feeling safe. Modern facility, the room was very well equipped. The room was well insulated from the outside traffic or lifts, it was completely quiet during the night.
This is a basic hotel, one step up from a hostel primarily because you get a room with a bathroom. It's fairly clean, located near the N and D train, it's cheap and it's one of the best deals for a traveler on a budget.
Second time staying at this hostel, it's always a safe bet but nothing special. Sadly, hostels in NYC (or in the US) don't offer much quality or a hostel vibe. This one has a good location close to a metro station in Brooklyn. The room was clean, and probably their greatest plus is that their beds are twin beds and not bunk beds.
Can’t say enough good things about this place. Great location close to many cute shops and cafes as well as the subway, supermarket right next door, always felt safe. rooms are small but super clean and sound proof and staff was superb. Everyone was SO kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
