Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Travellers Paradise offers accommodation in a historical, heritage listed Guest House in Cairns, 1.2 km from Cairns Convention Centre. Peter is super kind and helpful, he assisted me during my arrival late on night, the day after he offered me to leave my luggage for few hours as needed and comeback later for coffee:)

Refurbished in May, 2018, Mad Monkey Village featuresa TV, a kitchen, bathrooms with air-conditioners in every room. There is also an outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi provided. A lovely hostel with amazing people! I came here while travelling north. Although i was only here for one night, i had a wonderful day/night, i even met a travelling buddy to travel further with! Just amazing. The hostel was very clean has a nice common area and a nice pool! Happy that i chose this hostel and i would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay here for work or only for a few days!! :)

Ideally located in the scenic and quieter area of the Esplanade- away from the noise of the clubs, bars and traffic- but only an easy 10 minute walk to the main attractions, the Pier and Cairns City... Friendly staff, comfortable room and bed, close to everything.

I came here without expecting anything and it was just really good. Everyone there was super friendly (and there are dogs too!), the bed was comfy, they even offered me dinner. Tim is a great host!
