Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge and views of city, Hostel Estação Maracanã is set in Rio de Janeiro, 700 metres from Maracanã Stadium. The staff is amazing and courteous. The private room was big and really quiet and clean. The shower was really nice. The location is good - around 15 minutes on foot from Maracanã metro station, and quite beside the stadium.

Located in Búzios, a 12-minute walk from Armação Beach, Bamboo Búzios Hostel has a number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi. Location is right in the waterfront and you can see lovely views while eating breakfast or chilling in the outdoors or indoors common areas. Also, it’s in the town center and a short walk from to all the touristic cafes, restaurants and shops, including the port where the boats leave from, so it’s very convenient. Hostel staff are helpful (service provided mostly in Portuguese or Spanish) and they arrange activities during the day and evening, as well as providing the option to book tours with them.

Aquarela do Leme has a fitness centre, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Rio de Janeiro. The breakfast was amazing. All you can eat buffet but with really tasty options. The showers and toilets were clean and always enough for the residents. They had a small but surprisingly good gym on the roof. It had a squat rack, bench and dumbbells. Great work out area. They have a bar and a kitchen to cook. The area was great, never had any issues.

Wonderful property. Great location, excellent cleanliness, value for the money was beyond. Eric, the manager, is so personable and so accommodating, he made the entire stay a real pleasure.

Castelo dos Tucanos Hostel features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Rio de Janeiro. Well situated in the Santa Teresa district, this hostel features a bar. The property is pretty and spacious. You can be around people but also have some alone time if you don’t want to stay in your room. There are many rooms available, and it’s really large. I love the TV area too, and the garden by the pool is my favorite place to relax and chat. I really enjoyed my time here! The volunteers, especially those I connected with, were lovely and easy to approach—they truly make a difference. As a heads up for anyone reading this: if you’re invited to ‘Pedra do Sal,’ on Monday think twice—it was a bit stressful! Hahhahahahahhahahaahah *crying* The breakfast was great, with plenty of options. Congratulations to everyone involved in preparing it, especially the volunteers who helped organize. And plus the barbecue on sundays, really lovely. And the drinks! L 🇫🇷/🇧🇷 is doing an amazing job. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I will genuinely miss them. Please let him know he has a real talent! I also loved the conversations and will miss those. I plan to come back soon. If I had known how wonderful it would be, I wouldn’t have booked my return tickets so early—I would have stayed longer!

Rio World Connection Hostel has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Rio de Janeiro. Ah, such a lovely place!!!! The beautiful city views from the rooftop pool, the clean rooms, the hostel itself is a really cool old mansion type place. Marcos the owner is awesome & even upgraded my room for me! His staff member Melanie is awesome!! Both Marcos and Melanie are good friends of mine, I felt like I was in my own home! Thank you for the love guys, until next time! The vibes are super chill, super safe, and all the other staff is awesome as well.

Set in Rio de Janeiro and within 700 metres of Copacabana Beach, Chez Zany Boutique Hostel - Copacabana features a garden, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Really liked our stay here, really clean cute house, good that it has a little kitchen, good area close to the beach and felt very safe here! Very good value for money as well!
