Location is right in the waterfront and you can see lovely views while eating breakfast or chilling in the outdoors or indoors common areas. Also, it’s in the town center and a short walk from to all the touristic cafes, restaurants and shops, including the port where the boats leave from, so it’s very convenient. Hostel staff are helpful (service provided mostly in Portuguese or Spanish) and they arrange activities during the day and evening, as well as providing the option to book tours with them.

All you can eat buffet but with really tasty options. The showers and toilets were clean and always enough for the residents. They had a small but surprisingly good gym on the roof. It had a squat rack, bench and dumbbells. Great work out area. They have a bar and a kitchen to cook. The area was great, never had any issues.

Wonderful property. Great location, excellent cleanliness, value for the money was beyond. Eric, the manager, is so personable and so accommodating, he made the entire stay a real pleasure.

This lively hostel in Rio de Janeiro has a great location 300 metres from famous Copacabana Beach. It offers fun in its bamboo spa, pool bar and outdoor mountain lounge. Nice Hostel close to Copacabana. Really kind staff. Gaby & David are awesome!

The property is pretty and spacious. You can be around people but also have some alone time if you don’t want to stay in your room. There are many rooms available, and it’s really large. I love the TV area too, and the garden by the pool is my favorite place to relax and chat. I really enjoyed my time here! The volunteers, especially those I connected with, were lovely and easy to approach—they truly make a difference. As a heads up for anyone reading this: if you’re invited to ‘Pedra do Sal,’ on Monday think twice—it was a bit stressful! Hahhahahahahhahahaahah *crying* The breakfast was great, with plenty of options. Congratulations to everyone involved in preparing it, especially the volunteers who helped organize. And plus the barbecue on sundays, really lovely. And the drinks! L 🇫🇷/🇧🇷 is doing an amazing job. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and I will genuinely miss them. Please let him know he has a real talent! I also loved the conversations and will miss those. I plan to come back soon. If I had known how wonderful it would be, I wouldn’t have booked my return tickets so early—I would have stayed longer!

The beautiful city views from the rooftop pool, the clean rooms, the hostel itself is a really cool old mansion type place. Marcos the owner is awesome & even upgraded my room for me! His staff member Melanie is awesome!! Both Marcos and Melanie are good friends of mine, I felt like I was in my own home! Thank you for the love guys, until next time! The vibes are super chill, super safe, and all the other staff is awesome as well.
