Ostello Scudellate MONTE GENEROSO features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Scudellate. It was magical. We spent a very good moment here.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. I liked the receptionist. She was very informative and very good person. I stayed at a female dormitory and the girls were really nice and very quiet so i had a good night sleep.

Situated in Quinto, 33 km from Devils Bridge, Villaggio di vacanza TCS features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Super nice people working there, very friendly and welcoming. Location is very convenient, surroundings are amazing, lots of outdoor space. Everything is extremely clean: beds, rooms, showers, bathrooms. Restaurant is excellent with very good food (I took pasta and it was very very good), they also offer local beers and small-scale wines...very nice place. Ah, and a lot of hiking in the surroundings...

Surrounded by a lush garden, the Youth Hostel Locarno is 1.5 km away from the train station and the Lake Maggiore. Excellent breakfast with a very good muesli, tasty bread and cheese. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Situated in Bosco Gurin, Casa di vacanza Giovanibosco is 42 km from Piazza Grande Locarno and features various facilities, such as a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Very clean hostel. Also very quiet. The staff (especially Franco) is very kind-hearted.

Set in the historical city centre of Bellinzona, Youth Hostel Bellinzona is just 500 metres from The Three Castles of Bellinzona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hostel serves a buffet breakfast. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. You cannot beat the location. The room was clean and actually very modern. I enjoyed being on top floor. The train track is right next to hotel and that’s the only minus for me. It was loud and woke me up all night but that’s not the hostel’s fault. I would definitely return.
