Thad a scooter accident during my stay and couldn't move my left arm. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive— they took care of me with so much kindness, making sure I had everything l needed. Traveling alone can sometimes be challenging, but here, I felt supported and cared for as if I were with family. I wholeheartedly recommend this place, especially to solo backpackers. If you're looking for a place where caring people will look after you, this is the one. A huge thank you to the entire hotel team for your humanity and generosity.

The House Hostel er með garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og bar í Gili Trawangan. Meðal aðstöðu á gististaðnum er sameiginlegt eldhús og herbergisþjónusta ásamt ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna. The hostel was very cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is a filling and delicious banana pancake and coffee/tea/water is available at all times. Candra was very kind and helpful, he took us on a short hike to see beautiful viewpoints for the sunset.

SUPER CLEAN and comfortable beds, rooms, facilities… very nice pool/cafe/coworking area Very social and easy to meet people, but also great if you wanna do your thing and be more calm The lady at the cafe is the sweetest. She treated us all like her family☺️

Wanderlust Hostel Mandalika er staðsett í Kuta Lombok, í innan við 1,7 km fjarlægð frá Kuta-ströndinni og 43 km frá Narmada-garðinum. It’s so nice to have space for the backpack and clothes other than a really comfortable bed with two pillows! Nice hot shower. The staff is very welcoming and they rent scooter at a very fair price.

Lost Inn Kuta Capsule Hostel er staðsett í Kuta Lombok, 2,6 km frá Kuta-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði, garði og verönd. Very nice hostel, a little bit out of the hectic Center of Kuta but not too far. Super comfortable bed and good bathroom. But the most exceptional was the stuff, unbelievable helpful and friendly. If I come back, I definitely stay here again.

Tiga Spies is a hidden gem in Kuta, Lombok, tucked away from the main street. One of the highlights for me was the peaceful location – I never heard any traffic noise unless someone from the accommodation or next door was arriving or leaving. This ensured quiet evenings, restful nights, and calm mornings, which I greatly appreciated. The accommodation itself is simple, but not too minimalistic. My room, bed, linens, and the open-air bathroom were clean throughout my stay. The small terrace was also a nice touch, perfect to work or sit for chat — albeit not private. While there is no safe, the room does have a lockable wooden closet. The large bed is comfortable and offers ample space underneath to store two to four shortboards. The mattress seemed fresh, had a neutral good scent, and was medium to firm, just how I like it – especially compared to the overly soft mattresses I had encountered in Indonesia. The garden, although still under construction, is already quite nice, even if not stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful, though communication could sometimes be a little challenging due to my limited Sasak and Indonesian. However, the owners speak perfect English and were always kind and accommodating. One potential downside is the road leading to the accommodation, which can be rough, especially if you’re not super experienced riding a scooter. Personally, I didn’t mind; in fact, I felt it added to the charm of the place. In terms of value for money, I would say the pricing is slightly ahead of the accommodation’s current state, especially considering the simplicity and lack of extra amenities. For example, soap wasn’t provided and some constructions going on. Also I found the scooter rental overpriced at 80k per day, even when asking to rent for three weeks. Most places in Kuta offer daily rentals starting at 70k, with prices easily negotiable down to 65k, 60k, or even 55k when asking for 1-3 weeks.

Everything looks new, very comfortable beds showers and toilet. The staff was very helpful and kind. Good swimming pool and view Very good vibe in general

Hijau er staðsett í Cakranegara á Lombok-svæðinu, 28 km frá Bangsal-höfninni og 7,9 km frá Narmada-garðinum. Gististaðurinn er með garð. This is an amazing place. It’s what you look for when you travel, there is a family atmosphere where you feel very welcome. They are very helpful if you have questions, and always with a big smile. Definitely recommend this place. I will come back when I will be back in Lombok

De Chicktoria Hostel er staðsett í Pawenang, 4,9 km frá Bangsal-höfninni, og státar af garði, bar og fjallaútsýni. Homestay meets hostel! The place is run by family and friends, and they're all wonderfull! Truth be told the description is not entirely up to date, but the current reality is actually better! Rooms are per 2 person, and comfy! The common area exist out of 1 big table where everyone meets each other, and passes a lovely time. They offer great food and drinks as well, at reasonable prices. There are chickens (in coops) and a few lovely cats! They rent out scooters at fair prices! Thank you for the lovely stay! Great for unwinding.
