This makes it very easy to get in contact with other guests and staff in the common room. The staff is amazing and also organizes sometimes things in the evening, like dinner or trying sake.

It is a very good hostel with lovely staff. My stay in Nara was amazing partly thanks to Hilo Hostel. I was so happy that I even left a Than you note at my departure.
