Fully equipped kitchen, big beds, close to a big supermarket, and the effort that the host Ryo puts into the job is amazing. He will drive you everywhere and recommend hikes in the local area. The best recommendation you can get as a host has to be that the customers come back, and I've already been there twice on my trip around Japan :)

Boasting ski-to-door access, Niseko Hirafu Tsukushi is situated in Kutchan in the Hokkaido region, 5.6 km from Hirafu Station and 1.1 km from Lerch Memorial Park. Size was cozy, beds very comfy. Friendly staff. Very clean kitchen. Perfect size to not feel like an overwhelming number of people. Drying room was a great perk.

Located in Kutchan, within 7.8 km of Hirafu Station and 800 metres of Kutchan Station, Niseko Powder Chalet provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property as well as... The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. There are no staff on-site besides people coming in to clean, but the key system worked like clockwork and I didn't have any issues. The washing machine is a plus, and the kitchen has plenty of appliances and cooking tools. This would be a good place to rent out as a big group.

The staff were very nice, we were a 3 min walk from the mountain and shuttle to other ski areas. Good price for the area. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were cheap snacks to purchase in the front which was nice because there isn’t food nearby. There was a room to wax your gear. The showers were super AMAZING! There is also an Onsen a 5 minute walk away for 1000 yen. The lounge was very comfortable with a good vibe allowing us to make friends with a lot of awesome guests!

Situated in Kutchan, 3.8 km from Hirafu Station, Boken Kazoku features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. I guess I didn’t read the description but it’s a really cool property, it’s an old school turned into a hostel. The owners were extremely nice and communicated everything well. There a bus stop for both directions at the entrance making it very accessible to either town. When I got hurt and had to go to the hospital the grandma at the property who used to be a nurse helped re bandage my ankle after the hospital didn’t do a good job and everyone checked on me every day. It was really sweet.
