Staff are always available by message and extremely helpful, they do go the extra mile. Great common area. Homely feeling. Bathrooms very clean. Highly recommend. Great location.

Situated in George Town, 2.2 km from Northam Beach, The Terraces by Aayu features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. I only stayed one night before my flight out of Malaysia and I regret that I didn’t stay longer. The house and the vibe is really cool. Kind of modern industrial style. The house seems huge and there are enough chill out places and clean bathrooms. The rooms are very simple and small but for me totally enough. The hosts were very nice and I received several recommendations of activities via what’s app. You get free water, coffee and tea and also traditional bread. There is a small kitchen to use. I really liked the accommodation and the location of it. Would definitely come again!!

Best Experience ever ❤️ Place is so Cozy, location is amazing, very near to the Street Art. Staff and Owner are so friendly and welcoming, providing support and guidance all along the Trip. I had a great time staying here. The owner is so kind and helpful. The hostel is very central but still in a quiet street. If I come back to Penang, I will definitely stay here again! :))

I had an amazing stay at this backpacker hostel in Penang! The location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk to numerous attractions, restaurants, and bars. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of adventures. The common area is spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing or socializing. There’s always something fun happening every night, from movie nights and pool tournaments to live acoustic performances, making it easy to meet fellow travelers and enjoy the community vibe. The real standout is the staff. Every one of them was incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to make sure guests feel at home. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience, and it’s a big reason why I’d return to this hostel the next time I visit Penang. It’s a wonderful hostel with a perfect mix of comfort, activities, and exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Situated in George Town, 2.4 km from Northam Beach, Aayu Beach St features air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. Lovely clean rooms, in a great location in the centre of George Town. Very clean and the host provides free hot/cold water, tea, coffee and even bread in the morning which is a nice touch. Shared bathrooms but plenty of them and kept really clean also.

Set in George Town, less than 1 km from Northam Beach, Sogor Female Dormitory offers air-conditioned accommodation and a shared lounge. The Sogor was a highlight in my travels, a super well organised place where you felt right at home! Very easy to make new friends since most of the people were female solo travellers! Good vibes and very clean!
