Located in Paihia, 1.1 km from Te Ti Bay Beach, Palm Tree Lodge & Backpackers provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This was a lovely place to stay. The atmosphere was very friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Although the bathroom was shared, it was kept in a much nicer state than in other hostels we have stayed in. The same can be said for the kitchen. The pool was a great place to cool down at the end of the day. This hostel was good value too. Altogether excellent!

Haka House Bay of Islands is a welcoming and stylish hostel located just across from the scenic Paihia wharf, offering cosy, practical accommodations with million-dollar views of the stunning... Beautiful location. Very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean. All staffs are kind. Highly recommended☺︎

Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge & Backpackers features a barbecue area with outdoor seating. Everything! Facilities big enough, always clean, hot shower, nice staff (Loved Bella!)

Set in Paihia, 1 km from Te Ti Bay Beach, Pipi Patch offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Off side road but two minutes from Paihia's tranquil beach and 200 meters from superb cafes, restaurants and pubs this small great value motel features spacious spotless rooms on the upper floor with a view of the mountain, separate bath and kitchenette (fridge, kettle, sink, complementary coffee). Fresh and breezy, with high vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams, porch and chairs. Recently painted red and refreshed with minimalist decor. Exceptionally friendly team onsite managing the motel. There is also a large shared kitchen if you feel like cooking but with all the great places to eat and drink nearby, I didn't find a need to. Minutes by foot along beach to Paihia marina, lots of shops and short ferry to charming Russell. No car needed to enjoy this little paradise.
