Set within 35 km of Estación Maritima and 44 km of Ria de Vigo Golf, Hostel Bulwark offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Valença. This was one of my top two hostels on the Camino. The location was central and beautiful, with stunning views out the window. The beds were made of sturdy wood, with curtains, outlets, lamps, and very comfortable mattresses. They provided fluffy towels and bedding. There were maybe 6-8 beds on my floor and two full bathrooms, which was really nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the shared spaces were cute. I appreciated the lockers for packs. They also offered items in house that you may need for an extra charge (e.g. laundry, special beverages, snacks, locally made shells for your pack, etc.). I purchased a shell here that I cherish! I would come back to stay here even if just traveling or wanting to show someone how stunning Valenca is. Also, the host was very friendly and took the extra time to give guidance for the Camino the next day, restaurants, etc.

Casa Augusta 4 is situated in Braga, within 26 km of Ducal Palace and 26 km of Guimarães Castle. Casa Augusta is a good apartment with some random travellers like myself and a few long-term guests too (located rather close to the bus station). The argentinian guy who was working part-time over there was also super friendly! Apart from that, I had a mistake concerning the dates of my stay on Booking but they solved it extremely fast. Thanks you so much to the nice manager who helped me through WhatsApp in order to change the actual date of my stay at Casa Augusta!!!!

The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. The garden in the back was cozy to relax with passion fruit tree giving shade and even a lime tree which I thought was cool. The location isn’t far from bars and restaurants, I was able to walk around and explore the center.

Everything was new and clean. I liked how the space was used. The room had a fridge and smelled nice. The bed was comfortable too.
