I never usually leave reviews but I loved my stay at Samesun and would highly recommend it to other travellers. Great value for money, rooms were comfortable and quiet despite there being a nice ambience with music in the hallways. Facilities and staff were excellent too! Would definitely stay again.

We were there on weekdays in september so only a few beds were occupied, so it was very quiet and cool - I don't know how it is in high season.

There are many great breakfast spots around, cute coffee shops, and we managed to visit all famous landmarks by feet! Staff is very kind, and they were always happy to help.

Everything was spotless. The design of the hostel was great. I loved how the dining area was in a loft above the kitchen and that there were plugins even in the dining area. There was a filtered water-bottle-filling station. Staff were very accommodating about me needing to change dates.

HI San Francisco Downtown Hostel boasts a central location, just a 5-minute walk from shopping and dining in Union Square. Very clean and centrally located hostel. Staff and all the facilities provided are amazing.
