Impormasyon ng accommodation

The Gästehaus im Priesterseminar is located in the Priest House which also houses the Rupertus book shop, the Priesthouse Library, the Johanneskeller and the Church of the Holy Trinity. Built after plans from the famous Austrian architect Johann Bernhard Fischer von Erlach the building was inaugurated in 1699 and had various functions over the years - however it has always been and still is a seminary for the priest candidates of the Archdiocesis of Salzburg. After the renovation in 2012 the guest house as it is now opened its doors to the public in June 2012. During the renovation we paid attention to keep the original character of the building. Therefore our rooms are simply but functionally furnished and all have a private bathroom with shower and WC. We explicitly decided against TVs in the rooms, but we offer a TV room on the second floor as well as free wifi which is accessible in the whole building. We also offer our guests two common areas and a small library. The common area on the second floor also offers a web corner and a small kitchenette which are free to use for our guests.

Our Guesthouse is located right in the heart of Salzburg at Makartplatz. At the same square you can also find the Salzburg State Theatre and the Mozart Residence. Right next door are the beautiful baroque Mirabell Gardens with Castle Mirabell. Around our guesthouse you can find plenty of possibilities to shop and to enjoy the local cuisine. The Old Town of Salzburg with its many tourist attractions is located just on the other side of the Salzach river and not even a five-minutes-walk away.
